Bay Private Capital was founded in 2013 as a family-owned private money lender headquartered in Maryland. Our mission is simple: to help real estate investors achieve their goals — whether renovating homes for resale or building long-term rental portfolios.
After decades of experience in residential real estate and mortgage lending, Jack, Ben, and Mark recognized a growing need for reliable private capital in the local DMV real estate market. They set out to build the kind of lending partner investors could truly depend on.
It would be hard to find a team with deeper local real estate experience. Collectively, the principals have purchased and sold hundreds of homes, built hundreds of new construction properties, completed extensive renovations, managed real estate teams, and originated thousands of residential mortgages. They’ve seen virtually every market cycle and scenario.
Today, Bay Private Capital leverages that real-world experience to help responsible real estate entrepreneurs confidently grow their businesses.

We offer short term financing for up to 12 months for the purpose of purchasing and renovating residential real estate

Application review and approval within 24 hours

Loan amounts offered between $50,000 and $1,000,000​. Other amounts considered on a case by case basis

Most loans are 100% financing for the acquisition and additional rehab funds for the renovation

Can fund the project as quickly as 3 to 5 days from application. Some circumstances allow for funding in 1-2 days.

Appraisals are done in-house in less than a day​
